The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is an organization with a rich history
that continues to thrive in today’s ever-changing world. Joining the DAR connects you with over
180,000 women who are honoring their heritage while making a difference in
their communities across the globe.
Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible to join.
If you think you are descended from a Revolutionary War patriot and want to join the White Plains Chapter, NSDAR,
we are happy to provide you with guidance and assistance in the application process.

Members of the White Plains Chapter, NSDAR, come from a variety of backgrounds and interests. We participate in numerous activities aligned with the DAR’s mission to promote patriotism, preserve American history, and educate America’s youth, including:
Visiting local historic sites and commemorating important milestones in our nation’s history
Marking Revolutionary War patriot gravesites and headstones
Organizing local community service projects for veterans and others in need
Providing college scholarships for high school students who excel in American history
Supporting DAR-approved schools by collecting
Box Tops for Education
Creating friendships with vibrant women in our chapter, state, and National Society
